Security Update: Microsoft Schannel Vulnerabilities

Following the recent announcement of the OLE automation array remote code execution vulnerability in the Windows OS (CVE-2014-6332), we would like to reassure our clients about the safety and security of the RAPid platform.

While there have been no reported "in the wild" attacks (due to a very specific scope of execution requiring an MITM approach; and subsequently minimal risk to our RAPid platform and users), we have patched and updated the systems using the OS core cryptographic implementation (Schannel), to ensure protection against any vulnerabilities.

We continue to take data protection and security extremely seriously, and continually test and evolve our security protocols to protect against vulnerabilities such as these.
