Addressing the Spend Visibility Gap: Sony Europe


Following the consolidation of its legal entities into one European presence and the creation of an Indirect Procurement team across Europe, Sony Europe Limited needed to achieve full and effective spend visibility, and quickly implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

The newly-formed team also needed to be able to use spend analysis to drive reports and enable them to dig deeper into spend data in a more intelligent way and drive insight into each of their spend categories.

By implementing spend analytics, driven by Rosslyn Analytics’ RAPid data management and analytics platform, Sony Europe was able to ensure easy identification of demand management activities, significantly increased tracking and compliance of contracted spend, and supported multi-million pound savings in 2013 alone.
